Relax, act natural, and let’s be great

This day is not about me, your session or your photos.

It’s about You.

Forget about what happened before your session, posing or looking stiff in front of the camera.

You close your eyes. When you open them, I'm on the ground, you laugh, it's genuine. (Click)

My only goal is to boost your confidence and capture your genuine self.

The real You being captured

The Process

01.

Contact Me

You reach out to me by clicking on my contact tab at the top and tell me about your awesome portrait or headshot session!

I will respond to your inquiry within 24 to 48 hours with details regarding my availability for your date.

02.

Meet Up

Now I can put faces to names and we can get a feel for one another as we chat about your photo needs and vision for your session!

In this consultation, we get to know one another a bit more. We will discuss photo packages, digitals or á la carte options that suit you best.

I like to make sure we are a good fit for each other in terms of style and vision. When we are both comfortable, Greatness happens.

If after the consult, you or I choose to move in a different direction, there will be NO hurt feelings - only best wishes.

03.

Your Session!

The day has come! We both show up to your session, you feel like the King or Queen that you are and we create incredible photos.

04.

Delivering Images

In the 1 to 2 weeks following your session, I will be meticulously editing and perfecting the photos.

When they're ready I will deliver them to you via your personal online gallery and print.

The gallery storage time is 14 days so download them before they are removed.

I use a professional printing company for all of my prints to ensure excellence every time.

FAQ

This is my first photo session, what should I know?

First off congratulations!

The camera picks up fine detail.
1. Shave or wax the night before
2. Make sure your make up looks natural or not heavy
3. Check your fingernails for chips and wear a strapless bra if shoulders will be showing.
4. Lay your outfit, if anything jumps out, it may be a distraction
5. Find Pintrest inspiration
6. Be well rested, relax and have fun

What should I wear?

1. Wear what makes you feel good
(Being uncomfortable shows on camera)
2. Avoid patterns, prints and graphics
(unless you are making a statement or it's what you are going for)
3. Wear flattering clothing that fit well
(Try it on before coming to the session)
4. Choose clothes that cover the skin
(If you are self conscious about your arms or legs, it'll help draw attention away from them and onto your face. Of course this doesn't apply to you if do you want to show them off
5. Wear solid colors
( That are not distracting)
6.Dress for the location and season

How many pictures will I receive?

That depends on which service or package you choose

Are you available outside of Birmingham?

Yes...but a travel fee may apply

What type of retouching is included?

I individually remove blemishes, edit the color, and crop to achieve the best image possible.

What to do about bad weather?

If it’s raining on the day of the shoot I can reschedule you to any available day at no extra charge. We also plan ahead to scout for alternate locations.

Is the retainer fee refundable?

The retainer fee you pay for your session is non refundable. This provides a little security and peace of mind for both parties. It holds us accountable and shows that we value each others time

When will we receive our finished prints?

It usually takes 1 to 2 weeks to edit and deliver digitals or fine art prints. Time is dependent on the number of photos, season and bookings.

How long do I have to download my images?

Digital photos are stored for 14 days in your private online gallery.

I lost or forgot to download my images and the window is closed, what can I do?

No Worries! I will happily upload them again for free. However, if a 6 month window has passed, a $75 re-activation fee will apply.

The reason for this is because once the gallery expires, there are extra steps I have to take to make the photos available again.
There is a limit to the number of images I can post based on my gallery plan.

Do you backup or otherwise secure images for protection?

Yes. I use two memory cards that record simultaneously. If one fails the backup secures the image. Once transferred to my computer another backup is made in the event of computer failure.

Do I own the copyright to my images?

No. You have Personal Use rights. It means that you can use your images on photo albums, wall art, social media, business use. You can not sell your image for profit.
